Cardiology consultation experience is frequently combined with noninvasive diagnostic testing. Consultations are referred to the consult Fellow for primary contact. These consultations are then seen by the Fellow or medical resident on the Consultation Team and reviewed with the attending Cardiologist and an appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic plan is formulated. The Fellow then participates in the implementation of the plan and patient follow-up.
