On weekends, trainees from on-call teams round with clinical attendings in the morning and admit new patients throughout the day. Call averages one in four nights with at least one full weekend off each month when on service. In fact, averaged over 3 years, trainees get half of their weekends off. There is a night-float system for interns and residents. Teaching Rounds include Wednesday sessions that include: Geriatrics Assessment, Program Director's Rounds (Clinical Reasoning and Medical Documentation) and Bedside Physical Examination Rounds.
